We defend our imagination about ourselves at any cost "Kahoda" the sage suddenly hears a voice correcting him. It is his unborn child, speaking from within his wife's womb! Kahoda is annoyed rather than getting pleased with his child's brilliance, "May this over-smart child of mine be born with a defect of eight twists in his body", he snarls. That is how, the child gets his name - "Ashtavakra", he who is bent in eight places. While Ashtavakra is still an infant, his father loses a debate competition in the court of king "Janak", and as per the condition of debate, the loser has to become the slave of the winner. When Ashtavakra becomes 8 years old and learns the fate of his father, he participates in the same competition and manages to defeat the master of his father. Kahoda breaks down with tears when he recognizes that his saviour is his son. Kahoda was insecure and he felt his reputation was threatened by his own son's brilliance,...

Only human can acknowledge the value of other human We want to feel significant. We want to be located in a social hierarchy. The purpose of social structures is to grant us a social position and power, which makes us feel powerful and secure. Only humans can endorse other humans. This is why we feel nervous around strangers. We feel insecure until the other human is able to identify or value us. So we first introduce ourselves and following that, we speak of our achievements. We refer to mutual friends and contacts, especially those who are socially significant. We feel very powerful when others are able to recognize us and locate us in a cultural hierarchy.

The Leadership Theory - Key Points  Every person imagines himself differently from natural reality Humanity is all about imagination. When animals look into a mirror, they do not realize themselves. They wonder if the reflected beast is a threat or an opportunity. We, on the other hand, are able to see ourselves in mirrors. Or do we? Is it ourselves we see, or what we imagine of ourselves? The strong can imagine themselves as weak, the beautiful can imagine themselves as ugly, a villain can imagine themselves as a hero. No one can stop a person from imagining himself in his own way. The fact is, nature does not care for this mental image that we create in our minds. Human structures make no sense to animals or plants, that is why they treat all humans equally. Water will satisfy the thirst of both saint and sinner, the tree will give shade to the rich as well as the poor, the dog will adore its master, even if the master is a criminal.

Inner Powers Every living creature is born with mental and physical powers. i.e. Inner strength and capabilities. External Powers Tools, technology, laws, titles, and property that grants humans their social status, a location in the organizational hierarchy where they feel secure. Who is a Chakravarti leader? Chakra in the title means wheel or circle and refers to the horizon. Chakravarti is the master of all that he surveys. 1)Chakravarti knows that all human beings in his kingdom want to feel significant and seek status, a role, and responsibility. 2)He knows that the value of people comes from what they possess (Property, talent, skills) which is measurable. 3)He values rules as, without rules, the world is no different from the jungle where only the jungle king is considered right. 4)He seeks stability, certainty, and predictability. A Chakravarti's gaze is that of a leader who stabilizes an already established organization and shapes the destiny of his people.

Introduction Durga is the goddess of power in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. She was the goddess of kings. she rode a lion, the king of the jungle and symbol of royalty. We chase the powers but fail to realize that animal desire to dominate often destroys the best of organizations. --------------------------------------------------- Critics tend to see power as a negative thing. But power is a critical tool that affects the implementation of any idea. Any attempt to restrain it with rules results in anger and fails to energize the organization. Leaders often consider themselves as lions, and develop an attitude to dominate, when in fact the point of leadership is to enable and empower those around us. But this is not easy, anxiety empowers the best of leaders. --------------------------------------------------- This theory focuses on       The human quest for significance       The importance of property to gain more value and respect in society. ...
